Kaneiko 1:4:2 45° Surgical Speed-Increasing Electric Contra-Angle Handpiece for FG Burs

The Kaneiko 1:4:2 45° surgical electric contra-angle handpiece is designed for controlled high-speed cutting and improved access during compatible oral surgery procedures. Its 45° angled head supports bur positioning in posterior and restricted treatment areas, while the 1:4:2 speed-increasing transmission provides a manufacturer-specified maximum rotation of up to 168,000 rpm. Choose Model E45L with three-point internal water spray for chairside and surgical use, or Model E45L-X with single-point external water spray for compatible motor and MOS use. Both models feature fibre-optic light transmission, ceramic bearings, a stainless steel body, clean head system and anti-heat system.

Model E45L with Internal Water Spray

Model E45L features a three-point internal water spray system that distributes cooling water around the FG bur through channels inside the contra-angle handpiece. This supports cooling, debris removal and visibility during compatible surgical cutting procedures. Model E45L is designed for chairside and surgical use where integrated water delivery is preferred.

Model E45L-X with External Water Spray

Model E45L-X features a single-point external water spray pipe that directs cooling water toward the FG bur and treatment area. This model is designed for compatible motor and MOS use where an external water delivery configuration is required.

45° Angled Surgical Head

The 45° angled head supports improved access to posterior and restricted treatment areas where a conventional contra-angle head may limit visibility or instrument positioning. This configuration helps support controlled FG bur placement during compatible oral surgery and tooth-sectioning procedures.

1:4:2 Speed-Increasing Transmission

The 1:4:2 speed-increasing transmission is designed to provide controlled high-speed rotation when connected to a compatible electric micromotor. The handpiece supports a manufacturer-specified maximum rotation of up to 168,000 min⁻¹ for compatible surgical and hard-tissue cutting procedures.

Internal and External Water Spray Options

Model E45L uses a three-point internal water spray that distributes cooling water around the bur from multiple directions. Model E45L-X uses a single-point external spray pipe that directs water toward the cutting area. Select the model that matches the water delivery configuration of the intended electric micromotor system.

Fibre-Optic Light Transmission

Fibre-optic light transmission carries illumination from a compatible electric micromotor toward the treatment area. Improved visibility supports controlled bur positioning and access in posterior or restricted surgical sites.

Ceramic Bearing

The ceramic bearing supports smooth and stable rotation at high operating speeds. This helps reduce vibration and supports controlled handling during compatible surgical cutting and tooth-sectioning procedures.

Stainless Steel Body

Both Model E45L and Model E45L-X feature a stainless steel body designed to provide durability and stable handling during compatible surgical procedures. The smooth surface also supports routine cleaning and sterilisation according to the recommended maintenance instructions.

Clean Head and Anti-Heat Systems

The clean head system helps reduce the entry of treatment debris into the handpiece head, while the anti-heat system supports controlled temperature management during operation. Correct cleaning, lubrication and sterilisation should be performed according to the recommended maintenance instructions.

Electric Micromotor Compatibility

The Kaneiko 1:4:2 surgical contra-angle handpiece is designed for use with a compatible electric micromotor. The selected micromotor should support the required connection, fibre-optic light transmission and water delivery configuration of Model E45L or Model E45L-X.

Bur Compatibility

  • FG friction-grip dental burs
  • Standard bur shank diameter: Ø 1.6 mm
  • Use FG burs approved for the selected operating speed
  • Confirm that the bur is fully inserted and securely retained before operation
  • Select the appropriate bur length, shape and cutting design for the intended procedure
