Model 450 45° MOS Reverse Air Surgical High-Speed Dental Handpiece (M4)
Kaneiko Model 450 45° MOS Reverse Air Surgical High-Speed Dental Handpiece(M4)
The Kaneiko Model 450 is a 45° surgical high-speed dental handpiece designed to improve access and visibility in posterior and difficult-to-reach surgical areas. Its 45° angled head and MOS reverse-air design help direct exhaust airflow away from the operative site during compatible oral surgery procedures. Delivering 27 watts of cutting power at speeds from 330,000 to 400,000 rpm, the handpiece supports controlled cutting with long FG dental burs. It also features three-point water spray, a ceramic bearing, built-in LED illumination and an integrated M4 connection.

45° Angled Surgical Head
The Model 450 features a 45° angled head designed to improve access to posterior areas where a conventional straight-head high-speed handpiece may be obstructed by adjacent teeth or oral structures. The angled configuration supports visibility and instrument positioning during root separation, tooth sectioning and compatible impacted-molar procedures.
45° MOS Reverse Air
The MOS reverse-air design directs exhaust airflow away from the operative area instead of toward the surgical site. This airflow configuration is particularly important during compatible oral surgery procedures where controlled air direction and clear access to the treatment area are required.
27-Watt High-Speed Cutting Performance
The Model 450 delivers 27 watts of cutting power and operates between 330,000 and 400,000 rpm. This supports efficient cutting and sectioning when used with the correct long FG dental bur, suitable water cooling and controlled operating pressure.
Three-Point Water Spray
The three-point water spray distributes cooling water around the working end of the bur. This helps manage temperature, clear cutting debris and maintain visibility during compatible high-speed surgical procedures.
Built-In Micro-Generator LED Light
The integrated LED light is powered by a built-in micro-generator inside the handpiece. It directs illumination toward the operative area to support visibility in posterior and difficult-to-access surgical sites without requiring a separate fibre-optic quick coupling.
Ceramic Bearing and Titanium Alloy Body
The ceramic bearing supports smooth and stable turbine rotation at high operating speeds. Its titanium alloy body provides a durable handpiece structure designed for controlled handling during demanding surgical procedures.
Clean Head and Double Sealing Systems
The clean head system and double sealing design help limit the entry of treatment debris and contaminants into the handpiece head. Correct cleaning, lubrication and sterilisation should be performed according to the recommended maintenance instructions.
Integrated M4 Connection
The integrated M4 connection allows the Model 450 to connect directly to compatible four-hole dental unit tubing. No separate quick coupling is required, making it suitable for clinics using an M4 air-turbine setup.
