Kaneiko 1:1 Surgical Low-Speed Contra-Angle Handpiece with External Water Spray

The Kaneiko 1:1 surgical low-speed contra-angle handpiece is designed for controlled cutting, finishing and compatible surgical procedures using RA latch-type burs. Its direct-drive 1:1 transmission transfers the connected air motor speed directly to the bur, supporting rotation of up to 40,000 rpm. Both Model CX and Model CX100 feature a single-point external water spray, ceramic bearing, Stainless Steel body, Clean Head System and Anti-Heat System. Choose Model CX with fibre-optic light transmission or Model CX100 without light transmission to match your clinical setup.

Model CX with Fibre Optic and External Water Spray

Model CX features fibre-optic light transmission to improve visibility around the bur and treatment area. Its single-point external water spray pipe directs cooling water toward the working surface, while the 1:1 direct-drive transmission supports controlled operation at speeds of up to 40,000 rpm. The stainless steel body supports durability for compatible motor and MOS use with a dental air motor.

Model CX100 without Light and with External Water Spray

Model CX100 provides the same 1:1 direct-drive transmission, ceramic bearing, stainless steel body and single-point external water spray without light transmission. It is suitable for compatible motor and MOS systems where illumination through the handpiece is not required.

1:1 Direct-Drive Transmission

The 1:1 direct-drive transmission transfers the rotational speed of the connected dental air motor directly to the RA bur. Depending on the motor speed, the handpiece can operate at speeds of up to 40,000 rpm for controlled cutting, adjustment, finishing and compatible surgical procedures.

Single-Point External Water Spray

Both Model CX and Model CX100 use a single-point external water spray pipe that directs cooling water toward the bur and treatment area. The spray position should be checked before use to ensure that water reaches the working surface effectively.

Fibre-Optic and Non-Optic Options

Model CX includes fibre-optic light transmission to support improved visibility during treatment. Model CX100 is a non-optic version designed for clinical setups where light transmission through the handpiece is not required.

Ceramic Bearing

The ceramic bearing supports smooth and stable rotation during low-speed operation. This helps reduce vibration and supports controlled bur movement during cutting, finishing and compatible surgical procedures.

Stainless Steel Body

Both Model CX and Model CX100 feature a stainless steel body designed to provide durability and stable handling during routine clinical procedures. The smooth surface also supports cleaning, maintenance and sterilisation according to the recommended care instructions.

Clean Head and Anti-Heat Systems

The Clean Head System helps reduce the entry of treatment debris into the handpiece head, while the Anti-Heat System supports temperature management during operation. Correct cleaning, lubrication and sterilisation should be performed according to the recommended maintenance instructions.

Air Motor Compatibility

Model CX and Model CX100 are designed for use with compatible dental air motors. Before purchase or installation, confirm that the air motor connection, external water delivery setup and light configuration match the selected model.

Bur Compatibility

    • RA latch-type burs, also known as CA burs
    • Standard bur shank diameter: Ø 2.35 mm
    • Confirm that the bur is fully inserted and securely retained before operation
    • Select the appropriate bur design and operating speed for the intended procedure
