Surgical Head Friction Grip 45° High Speed Dental Handpiece
Kaneiko Surgical Head Friction Grip 45° High-Speed Dental Handpiece
The Kaneiko Surgical Head Friction Grip 45° High-Speed Dental Handpiece is engineered for stable, controlled and precise cutting during oral surgical procedures. Its 45-degree angled head improves access to posterior surgical areas, impacted molars and confined treatment regions where a conventional straight-head handpiece may restrict visibility or positioning.
The 45° surgical series is available in multiple connection variants for KaVo®, NSK®, Sirona®, W&H® and Bien-Air® compatible quick coupling systems. Depending on the selected handpiece model and coupling, configurations are available with four-hole or six-hole connections and with either fiber-optic illumination or non-light operation.
With 27 watts of cutting power, a lightweight DLC-coated titanium body, German ceramic ball bearings, Quattro four-point water spray, reverse airflow and low-noise operation, the 45° surgical handpiece provides a premium balance of access, cooling, visibility, control and handling comfort.

K45 KaVo®-Compatible
The K45 is designed for compatible KaVo-style quick coupling systems. It is available with the KL4 four-hole fiber-optic quick coupling or the KL6 six-hole fiber-optic quick coupling. Both configurations support light transmission to the handpiece for improved treatment-area visibility.
N45 NSK®-Compatible
The N45 connects with compatible NSK-style quick coupling systems. It is available with the NL4 four-hole fiber-optic quick coupling or the NL6 six-hole fiber-optic quick coupling, allowing clinicians to select the connection that matches their dental unit setup.
S45 Sirona®-Compatible
The S45 is engineered for compatible Sirona-style quick coupling systems. The S4 configuration uses a four-hole connection without illumination, while the S6 configuration uses a six-hole connection with fiber-optic illumination.
W45 W&H®-Compatible
The W45 is designed for connection with the compatible WH6 W&H-style six-hole quick coupling. This configuration is supplied without fiber-optic illumination.
B45 Bien-Air®-Compatible
The B45 is designed for connection with the compatible B6 Bien-Air-style six-hole quick coupling. This configuration is supplied without fiber-optic illumination.
45° Surgical Head Design
The angled surgical head improves bur access, visibility and hand positioning when treating posterior teeth, impacted third molars and confined surgical areas. The design allows clinicians to approach the treatment site from a more suitable working angle than a conventional straight-head high-speed handpiece.
Its DLC-coated titanium body provides lightweight handling with structural stability, helping reduce hand fatigue during extended surgical procedures. German ceramic ball bearings support smooth turbine rotation and low-noise operation.
Reverse Air System
The reverse air system is designed to direct exhaust airflow away from the treatment area. This supports controlled airflow during surgical cutting procedures involving extraction sites, posterior regions and other areas where direct air discharge toward the treatment site should be reduced.
The Quattro four-point water spray distributes cooling water around the bur and cutting area to support temperature control during tooth sectioning and demanding surgical applications.
Recommended Clinical Applications
- Surgical tooth extraction
- Impacted molar sectioning
- Third molar procedures
- Posterior tooth sectioning
- Oral surgical cutting
- Procedures requiring angled posterior access
Core Strength
Enhanced posterior surgical access with a 45-degree head, reverse airflow, multi-point water cooling and compatible connection models for different dental unit systems.
Bur Compatibility
- FG burs with a 1.6 mm shank diameter
- Compatible bur length: minimum 19 mm to maximum 28 mm
